Sterts Arts came to us back in July 2022 with an urgent logo design brief. They were organising a Youth Amateur production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, by special arrangement with the Really Useful Group, with special permission to recreate the iconic logo with a Sterts twist – although this was to be approved by none other than Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber himself!
No pressure then!
We knew we could do justice to this request and set about creating a modern, vibrant logo to provide the perfect centrepiece for the production.
Taking cues from the original design, we combined bold fonts with bright colours to create an eye-catching logo that would be sure to grab attention, whilst keeping the unique Sterts tent at the heart of the design.
The final product was sent off to the Really Useful Group (and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber!) and we were delighted when approval was granted.
We have since worked with Sterts to pull together posters and banners for the production and were over the moon to be able to see the show on opening night and see the logo in full glory on stage! It was a fantastic production – a credit to everyone involved!
