Ed Hopkins PR came to PB+J Web Design in the summer of 2020, with an urgent requirement for assistance setting up their Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns to maximise engagement and boost ticket sales for America’s #1 Haunted Attraction.
The challenges have certainly been plentiful:
1. Creating an advertising campaign which would accurately reflect the brand image of Field of Screams, as well as appeal to their target market – whilst also adhering to the social media platform’s stringent advertising guidelines – some of the campaign content is a bit gruesome to say the least!
2. Overcoming a Facebook ad account suspension
3. Adapting campaigns to new algorithms and strategies – especially after the implementation of iOS14 changes.
Working closely with the Ed Hopkins team, we utilised a mix of static and video ads to create a series of highly effective adverts which achieved incredible engagement rates and significantly increased ticket sales – an estimated purchase conversion value of over $1m in the first year – with over 50x ROI (Return On Investment)!
Our campaigns have been a resounding success, with the ads achieving almost 6 million impressions to date, and a reach of almost 2.5 million people.
